The pull chine needed some lubricant just inside the plastic opening for a little smother movement other than that I recommend this pull off on switch..

Not really a whole lot to say about it other than it does it's job just fine over the time that I've had it in my light fixture. Which, has only been a couple of months. But, daily usage has been great, so far! If it continues to hold up for at least a couple of years, I'll have no complaints and would be perfectly content buying another one to replace it.

I drilled a hole in the housing of LED strip light fixtures for closets in the house. I needed a pull chain for the fixtures since they do not come with them unless they are a shop light. Simple for me to do and had no problems, As for durability it is hard to say how long they will last since the housing is made out of plastic.

The light kit on the ceiling fan would not turn on and off as desired - sometimes it would, sometimes it wouldn't. I was looking for light kits when I noticed a video about replacing the switch. Why didn't I think about that!A quick search found the product I needed, Amazon had, and it arrived a few days later. Instructions were okay, but the installation is not difficult - just connect a few wires (AFTER pulling the breaker (mandatory safety comment)) and put it back together and I hope to have another 25 years of service!

I can't attest to the durability or longevity of this switch, but it worked well as a replacement in a fluorescent fixture. Very inexpensive and easy to replace. Came with two pigtails.

Ikea wall lamp my wife uses bedside crapped out, and eyeballing the switch inside this seemed like a suitable replacement. Was easy to install, and brought the lamp back to life. Jury's out in regards to longevity... but considering the low cost, if it lasts a few years and ultimately needs another replacement, it'll still be well worth it.

I went to turn on the light on a ceiling fan fixture one day and it pulled and didn't retract. And the light didn't come on. A quick search of the interwebs informed me that the switch had broken. Since this particular ceiling fan came with the house and has always been a little janky, I began searching for a replacement fan. I found that many of the newer light kits use the smaller socket candelabra light type bulbs instead of the regular sized bulbs I currently have, so I decided I didn't really want a new fan.More online searching led me to this replacement switch. I found I could probably find it at a local hardware store, but frankly, it was easier to order it from Amazon than to try to track it down in the store.I'd never dealt with ceiling fan installation or repair before, but once I got the light fixture removed and took good note of which wire went where before I removed the old switch, putting the new one in was easy-peasy. This new switch has been installed for only a couple of months, but it's performing just fine. If you don't want to completely replace your fan and light, this is a very inexpensive way to revive your existing light kit.
