After practically ruining another pair of shoes working on the lawn and gardening, I accidentally found these “men’s gardening shoes” on Amazon. They are not only completely waterproof, they look halfway decent, come in a great pale green color, stretchy enough to put on and take off easily, comfortable, and rinse clean under a garden hose!I’ve only had them for a few months, so I don’t know whether they will hold up over the long term, but so far I’m a major fan.

I’ve used many shoes for yard work over the years that I’ve eventually ruined getting wet and muddy. I finally found these shoes and I’m very impressed with their waterproof and are easily washed off. They are very comfortable and easy to put on and take off with the flexible neoprene around the top edges.

I got tired of wearing sneakers, getting the soles caked full of mud and my socks wet. These garden shoes keep my feet dry and a quick hosing down will remove most all of the mud. My wife appreciated this very much.

These shoes appear to be well made and they fit my size nine just fine. But if you thought you'd be able to step into them without bending over, be advised that they're not slip-ons. Those loops you see in the photos are there for a reason. You need them to pull these shoes over your instep and heel. Once accomplished they are comfortable.

I wear a women's size 11 1/2 Medium. These fit perfectly with athletic socks. The tread is just right to prevent slipping on wet surfaces and silty soil, yet not too spikey. They are flexible, but fit snug at the opening so my feet stay completely dry and clean.

I wore them while doing some yard work for about 3 hours. By the time I was done they had cut into the back of my Achilles area very badly. Days later the wounds are still painful and with every step down a stair, the wounded area stretches, breaking open the scabs, and making it a bloody mess. Shoes should not cause injury just by being worn.
