Doesn't stain like some stain/water repellents.

I've bought this spray twice and used it on a variety of items, from French straw bags to Birkenstocks, to white leather shoes. I've always been pretty happy with it. The fear always is that sprays will some how discolor leather, which is a valid fear I think. However, recently I used it on FitFlop's white leather sneakers and so far after several weeks I see zero discoloration. That's good!

I used this product from a review on YouTube and I’m glad I did! Used for several high end leather purses and boots. The scent is not great as expected but I tell you it does its job of protecting your valued pieces! Great value for the money you don’t need much and not more than one application has been necessary on each of my items! It’s easy to use but be sure to do outdoors!

I’ve purchased the Apple Brand Garde Rain & Stain Water Repellent multiple times. I can confidently say it’s a game-changer for anyone who wants to protect their favorite accessories. This product has become a staple in my care routine as someone who owns several handbags, shoes, and even some furniture pieces that I want to keep in pristine condition. What I appreciate most about this spray is its versatility. It works wonders on various materials, including delicate vachette leather, which can be tricky to maintain. I’ve used it on my luxury handbags without any worries about altering the color or texture. The formula is lightweight and dries clear, so you can barely tell it’s there after application. The effectiveness of the Apple Garde spray is another reason I keep coming back to it. I’ve used it in various weather conditions, and it consistently provides a solid layer of protection against water and stains. Whether caught in a sudden downpour or accidentally spilling something on my shoes, this spray has proven to be a reliable shield. Moreover, the application process is straightforward. Just a few sprays, and you’re good to go! I recommend applying it in a well-ventilated area and allowing sufficient drying time to ensure the best results.Overall, suppose you’re looking for a reliable, effective water repellent that won’t alter the color or quality of your items. In that case, the Apple Brand Garde Rain & Stain Water Repellent is worth every penny. I’ll continue to buy this product as long as it’s available—my accessories deserve the best protection, and I’ve found it here!

This product works. I did a ton of research and watched videos about it before I finally built up the courage to treat my new lv carryall. I had read some scary reviews which made me a little nervous, but took the risk anyway. I wanted to experience less anxiety about using my beautiful new bag!Overall, the process went smoothly, but it took some time. Protecting the canvas and gold hardware in detail was tedious, but absolutely necessary. Don't skip this step! The directions on the product do not indicate covering non-leather surfaces, they only advise to make sure the leather is absolutely clean before treatment. But you must protect the coated canvas and hardware to prevent staining. My Process::: I used ScotchBlue painter's tape to cover the monogram canvas surrounding the natural cowhide details such as the stripes and handles. I removed the leather name tag and loop handle belt strap and treated those separately. I also used the tape to cover any exposed hardware and removed the padlock from the zipper closure for safekeeping. The painter’s tape worked as expected and left no sticky residue. I covered and treated one side at a time to avoid mistakes. I sprayed the first coat, waited 30 min and then applied the second coat. I repeated this process for all four sides of the bag.**WARNING**1) You must avoid soaking the vachetta at all costs as this will leave watermark-like stains. Only spray the leather enough so it looks shiny wet, but not darkened or soaked. The spray will dry very quickly in some areas and take some time to dry in others. Don't let this uneven drying scare you into spraying more to even out the marks. This will cause soaking and will probably result in a stain -- so be conservative with your spraying!2) Also, keep an eye out for the spray solution seeping under loose tape borders and pooling below your protective cover. This will result in shiny residue drying on the canvas which can be hard to wipe off. If you get some spray on the canvas, don't freak out. This is totally fine as it will evaporate quickly. If a large amount of spray gets on the coated canvas and pooling develops, wipe it off with your hand immediately. I found this worked the best as the solution stuck to my hands and came right off the bag. When I used a facial tissue, its fuzz got stuck to the residue and onto the bag, so avoid using paper products to wipe it off. I also tried a wet cloth, but failed. My hand worked the best, lol. Do the same if any spray gets on the hardware— I hope this helps!Cheers :)
