It’s an ugly glass and it looks cheap. Looks nothing like the picture. I bought two of these as birthday gifts and I was actually embarrassed when it came out of the box.

I have this for emergencies… when my wine should be chilled and I didn’t plan ahead. It’s effective and fast, though if you pour warmer vino in it the ice melts fast. A careful pour is crucial, if not done perfectly it freezes on the outside or can form condensation and become very slippery even with the silicone band. It’s not a deal breaker – I just know I need to be careful. This is a delicate item, I keep it in my freezer in the box it came in because it could easily break with an unintended blow. Overall, I love it. I do wish they had been more careful with the fluid on the inside – mine had floaties but I can’t see them until everything melts. It’s a cute gift for a wine lover.

This is super giftable - comes in a nice little box and very well packed. I never got to use my first one because my fiance tried to wash dishes and accidentally hulk smashed it (he's broken a few things, and I kind of thought this might happen). He says he held it too tight and it burst? I had handled it a bit before it broke and while it's definitely glass, it didn't seem that fragile to me. I was a bit bummed because I was excited to try it. Well my fiance surprised me with a replacement! But only I get to wash this one. So I washed it and stuck it in the freezer upside down. Had a girl night in last Saturday with the dog and a bottle of rosé, and this glass was the star of the show. Kept my drink cold and it looks really nice. The band gives a good spot to grip and keeps your hands from getting too chilly. Anyway, this would make a fantastic gift, or treat yo'self! Just be careful about who washes it.

I’ve tried a lot of freezer glasses, and usually they are plastic and don’t stay frozen long enough to get through dinner. Plus the condensation starts and they are messy to hold. Well, not this one. First, it’s made of double walled glass and the liquid froze in a couple of hours. It’s a nice sized glass, I can’t get my hand all the way around it. It also has the silicon sleeve that makes this easy to hold on to, not dropping a wet glass! The glass does still condensation though, so be sure to use a coaster. The last thing is that it was so cold that it made some little bits of slush in my wine. 🙂. This is a nice glass, and perfect for a gift for secret Santa, bachelorette party, birthday, or just because! Highly recommend this glass!

I am obviously late to the party since I didn’t know until recently that there was such a thing as an insulated glass made of real glass that could be frozen. It is thicker than your standard wine glass but it keeps the wine colder than just freezing a normal wine glass. It also has a band around it to prevent your fingers from freezing and it comes in a nice presentation box. Borosilicate glass is somewhat fragile so you should hand wash it and it is just for cold liquids. I am going to order more of them for my wine loving friends.

This came very well packaged and in a nice box. The quality is very nice and the grip keeps your hand from getting cold. You can freeze it upside down or right side up. It's not very heavy having double walls and gel. I absolutely recommend it.
