Another wonderful piece in this rustic brown wood and black metal! The headboard fits my frame, however I turned the brackets sideways in order to make it work! Very sturdy!

It is true, upon opening the package you are faced with a number of parts which must be fitted together but the instructions are pretty clear and the end result looks really good. One of the limiting features of any headboard is the location of the mounting holes to attach it to a bed frame. It is nice that they included a bracket to allow the headboard to be attached to different sized bed frames and this is one of the reasons why I purchased this specific model. However, in my case the headboard and bedframe matched up exactly with holes being located 39 inches apart. It is a well-engineered product, the metal pieces were all painted black and there were no sharp edges or rust. My bed frame was 14 inches high and my mattress about 9 inches thick so the gap between the top of the mattress and the bottom of the upholstered section was minimal. The well-designed package protected all the contents and no parts were missing or damaged (they even included a few extra screws which was nice - few manufacturers would do that today). I would certainly buy this product again.

The lights are not very long and do not stick well. However, overall, it is very nice, super easy to build and install. It is very sturdy; we haven't noticed any noise from the headboard, which is a nice change. It is good value for the price and functions nicely.

Comes in many pieces, needs assembly that is not a quick job, so leave a few hours to put this one together if you try doing it solo. It was stressful for me to assemble even though I enjoy such activities. 12 pages of directions were mostly clear. Most parts fit together nicely and no pieces were missing. It is a clever and useful unit. I did not install the lights since this was for an older adult and the lights seemed to be a kid's accessory.

Overall the item is as described, and easy to put together. The low score comes from the fact pieces that are suppose to have holes drilled and show holes in the directions do not have them. It being a part of the metal frame where you are suppose to connect together makes it frustrating since it’s metal and can’t easily drill a hole. Also between all the metal and wooden pieces there are a lot of gaps. As well as warped metal pieces that lead to a lot of bending back in place or trying to force things. If I didn’t have tools available and was relying on the tools provided this would be a difficult build.

Overall it’s not a bad piece of furniture, gave me what I was looking for, I should have gotten a deeper one but that’s on me for thinking 5.25” was enough and it is all things considered, but having it wider would have filled the area better. The brown is a little darker than the picture (as is most product pictures) and matches the trim of my home nicely so it was a win on my end I thought it would be that brightness which still would have looked great. Only issue I ran into that wasn’t a problem in the end, was one of the pieces shown in the picture didn’t have holes to screw into the other. Again was not an issue but if your anal about it that could be an issue for you. Still fits together nicely just don’t tighten every screw make it firm enough to move but not wobble because you’ll need to for some parts. Mounted to my metal bed frame nicely which was also a plus because it would sit below my mattress since we have a box spring. Ended up fitting perfectly and I would recommend this to be a buy.

The product is fine. It’s an inexpensive headboard and does what it was needed for. Looks fine. Fairly well made. However, the directions are not worth the paper written on. If you cannot look at the picture and have a bit of mechanical ability, the directions will not work. If you can overcome the directions, the product is ok.
