I was disappointed that it wasn’t a mineral block. Perhaps I didn’t read the description properly. In any case I put it outside for the deer. They have yet to go near it. It smells sweet to me but not sure if it is appealing to them

This is a great mineral supplement! Deer were attracted immediately to the mineral lick. Great to have the calcium versus a pure salt with trace minerals. Looking forward to trail pictures of the bucks through the summer!

Deer did not touch it. Will never buy again. Had SPYPOINT camera on it for a month and placed three feet off a main trail. Plenty of deer traveling pics, but not more than a sniff on the product.
