This product works nicely for indoor plants including special plants. However I was looking for 4in lights not these one's. (That's my fault). These lights are 2in. I'm using them and my plants are enjoying them. I have no true issues with the lights.

The packing, look and feel of these bulbs are exactly what's shown in the Amazon listing. However, their brightness claim of 150 Watts is definitely an exaggeration since each bulb is more like a 60W-incandescent equivalent. Still, they're an OK value at the current price (of less than $3.50 each). I've set them up to run in parallel over a bed of tomato seeds, and so far they're doing well. These need to run continuously for a while, so my main criteria of quality will be whether they will last as long as the advertised 25,000 hours (or at least at 80% of it). I'll need to come back after a couple of months to give an update on this, but so far I'm not seeing any issues.

I ordered these for a pendant light I installed for my larger plants. I love that they're the size of a traditional bulb (smaller than a can light), but still point the light down so there's no wasted energy of a traditional bulb. It fit the smaller pendant light perfectly, and provides spot lighting where I want it. This isn't the bulb to order if you're looking to encompass more than a direct area.

Seems to work. Just wish I had realized how small they are. I needed wider ones to cover more area. Theyre not as bright since theyre so small.

Have in my kitchen where windows are low light for my house plants, I love them.
