Yes, this is an inexpensive bass. I got it to play around with as an open tuned piccolo bass without breaking the bank. Unfortunately the 4 band equalizer was shorting out internally making it useless. Fortunately, I had an exact same, new unit in my spare parts and it worked perfectly. The equalizer removed from the bass looked old and scratched up, leading me to believe that an old unit was installed in a new bass. Or, the company was slickered by a return item. But, as an open C tuned Piccolo Bass,it sounds great!

Well, it took me about 30 minutes to do some fixing in this low price product. I changed the strings with better quality one, tighten the rod to make it flatter and that was it. It plays well. The sound out to bass amplifier need less treble and more bass adjustment because of piezo sound adapter, but that can be easily adjusted. Very good quality for this price!

all i had to do was clean up some fret ends,level a few frets, lower the action by filing the bridge, and put some phosphor bronze strings on it and it plays like a champ...very well made.

First let me say I bought this as a back up and a bass i could take with me or leave at my girls house so I wouldn’t worry about it getting damaged or knocked over.. with that being said I was super impressed with the sound this baby has!!! It’s loud and i was impressed with the harmonics this had .. I received it later in the day close to nighttime and I played it for hours I even fell asleep playing it . Now I’ve been playing bass for over 49 yrs off and on . This bass plays well.. I would definitely recommend this bass to anyone looking to pick up a good cheap priced bass that plays like an expensive one .. perfect for beginners, veterans and everyone in between..

The bridge was distorting the top raising the string, I got a short tail peace to take the pressure of the string of of the bridge and I can ground the Tail peace so a magnetic puck up will work
