Creative versatility
When one is fighting rodents in the garden one has to be creative. When all my squash got eaten last year I had to come up with a creative way to protect them that did not cost too much. I used tin snips to cut a small hole in the lip of one side to fit the vine through and then used garden wire to hold the edges together. Time will tell how long they last, but at least this year I should get some squash and as a bonus they are attractive.

Really spacious containers, perfect for fresh fruit, rolls, etc. and for outdoor eating, the included tops will be really handy to keep bugs off the food!

I absolutely love these fruit bowls, and you get two of them! They make our bananas last longer, and the metal mesh, keeps the fruit flies out. Very reasonably priced. Be careful of the little handles on the lids. To me, they are a little flimsy. Other than that, they do what I need them to do, and that's to keep critters OUT!

These fruit baskets with lids are a great addition to any kitchen or dining room. The design is practical, and the lids provide excellent protection, keeping fruits and vegetables fresh and free from flies. The quality of the materials is good, and the baskets are sturdy yet stylish.The only downside is the price. While the product is functional and well-made, it feels slightly overpriced, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. If you’re willing to invest, this set is an excellent choice for keeping your produce organized and protected.

Zuerst war ich skeptisch, ob die Obstfliegen durch die Gitterstruktur dringen können. Können Sie scheinbar nicht. Das Obst bleibt sauber. Außerdem sehen die Körbe auch sehr gut aus. Ich freue mich über den Kauf und kann die Körbe nur empfehlen, weil die Küche obstfliegenfrei bleibt.

These are cute little baskets but they don’t keep fruit flies out. It would probably keep houseflies out.

I was skeptical about this but was desperate to find a way to not only get rid of the fruit flies but to make sure they stayed off my potatoes and onions. Each one of these can fit a 5 pound bag of Russett potatoes. I wish they would make this in a rectangle and square version and large enough to hold 10 pounds of potatoes but this is better than anything else I could find and the price was pretty good too. I highly recommend this is you are trying to keep fruit flies or any other bugs from getting in your potatoes or onions or tomatoes or other items you don't want to keep in the fridge.

This set of metal wire, mesh baskets is well made, nice looking, and would keep out house flies. The mesh is to large to exclude fruit flies & gnats. The basket size works best for round fruit & veggies, compared to long ones like bananas.

I struggle with fruit flies every summer and I finally decided to change my fruit bowl for this basket. What a great decision as immediately the fruit fly problem diminished. It is still easy to see the fruit in the basket and it looks nice on the counter.
