Great quality and easy installation.After hearing horror stories about expensive repairs not covered under warranty, I decided to purchase this insert. With the number of issues owners have had, I don’t understand why this isn’t standard from the factory. There are definitely much cheaper options (just dig through Reddit or forums), but I wanted to keep the factory look.Highly recommend all Rav 4 owners purchase mesh to protect their vehicles.

Bought this after reading stories about expensive repairs to the cooling system for the hybrids after road debris launched up through the unprotected lower front intake. Figured $50 would be cheap insurance with the mesh covering. Not sure how well the adhesive will hold up long-term but it was an easy install - just clean, test fit, expose the tape, and snap into place. It looks almost like it always belonged there.

Easy to install and holds securely to the grill with the clips and tape. I added some thicker and stronger gutter mesh behind because the mesh seems a little weak against rocks, and it still fits great. It looks like something Toyota should just sell and install for you. Very happy with the purchase.

It's a pretty basic piece of plastic but it fits very well. The adhesive seems to work well and I'm confident it'll stay put. While I don't think it's making a huge difference, I did notice that there was already a small leaf caught in the grill.
