Just have it on a portable chop saw now, doing finishing work in a small Craftsman house, and it's been working very well. It does not splinter veneer-wrapped pine molding, 70-year-old old growth doug fir molding, or even the tiny plastic trim strips used with FRP. It would probably even be good enough for picture frames. This is obviously not the blade to use for your rough carpentry and framing, though.

I've been using Freud blades for decades and I have come to trust their quality. I bought this blade for my cordless Dewalt circular saw and it was a perfect fit. It doesn't say in the product description but the blade has a 5/8 inch arbor

I made a cut with it, and it was so easy and smooth that I kind of stopped and let the relief of knowing how much easier all this stuff is going to be wash over me.With anything I always like to get the worst version of it that's cheaper so that I can decide whether or not the more expensive upgrade is worth it. So I went from some kind of WEN blade to this. And I'm still using a wen saw and so far so good with that, so if you get the wen track saw and use this you're probably going to be fine.It's actually indescribable the difference that it makes and how much easier it is. It's way faster to do literally anything and it's cleaner, like you want this line you will get that line. It's a really sturdy blade too considering how thin the kerf is.I was baffled looking at Post online of people talking about "if you are nice to your saw blade it'll work for a long time" and I'm thinking what are these people talking about that's not possible, but now I see that it clearly is.
