I am in the middle of doing an RV restoration and I need a very exact size staple and a capable machine to do the install. Well in come this Freeman 18 gauge stapler. This thing has performed amazingly well. I have it hooked up to a pancake compressor from Home Depot's brand. it feels great in the hand and I trust it to do a great job and keep working. I haven't had any stapler jams or a lot of other headaches. Its got a decent heft which aids in driving in those staples a bit easier. I like the color too matches my Home Depot Branded tools! Anyway this thing does great for me. I recommend it, especially for the price.

Arrived promptly. It has not been used extensively, but to staple some boards on a decrepit fence it worked flawlessly at 80 pounds pressure with a small 2 gallon compressor.

Worked as it should. I used it to staple carpeting down on a hardwood stairs. It handled 5/8" and 1" staples easily and there was still adjustment left to increase the depth the staple penetrated. I'm confident this stapler could handle 1 1/2" staples easily into hardwood. I like that the stapler opens up easily for jamb ups, but out of the 500 or more staples I used, it never jambed once. I'm very impressed with the value and quality for the money and would definitely recommend it for the DIYer's.
