Your cart is empty.The Capitano is unique because of its special elongated spiral. The pitch (distance between the twists) has been increased for easy, more positive insertion into the cork. The nickel plated spirals have the filet, or etched line, running down the French made spiral which cuts into the cork more quickly. Non Stick coated, spiral is a smooth, non-filet version.

I ordered this corkscrew wine opener to take with me on a cross country roadtrip. It is perfect for opening a bottle of wine when we stop for the day and plan our next day’s adventure. The opener has a small knife blade for cutting the foil around the top of the bottle in order to access the cork. You then screw the corkscrew into the cork and use the grip on the edge of the bottle to help with extracting the cork. If you forget the corkscrew and leave it someplace you will be sad to not have it but it won’t be a costly loss. This opener functions great and seems built to last.

The waiter's corkscrew is exactly as the ones used in my favorite restaurant except mine is a beautiful purple color. The Franmara corkscrew is very well made and I expect it will last for a very long time. The sharp tip of the spiral allows for minimal resistance when inserting into the cork. It works as expected and is easy to use. I chose the "grape" colored version but there were many vibrant colors to choose from. I will be reordering several additional corkscrews from Franmara as stocking stuffers for my adult children. Great price. Highly recommend.

This corkscrew is made very well it’s incredibly sturdy. It’s easy to open wine bottles and glass beer bottles with this. Also, the color is beautiful.

Super happy with this one! This one should last a lifetime! ...Well, hopefully. This one is very sturdy. Color is vibrant and corkscrew glides in and out easily. Definitely recommend.

This little corkscrew is great for throwing in my camping gear tote. It doesn't take up a lot of space like bigger wine bottle openers. It works for opening wine bottles, but you can also use it for other bottles as well. I ordered it in purple. It's definitely a bright purple.

I got the bright purple because it stands out in my "junk" drawer when I need a corkscrew, but it's such a fun color for a party, ladies night, gift or stocking stuffer! And of course it is sturdy, well made and works perfectly which is most important when you need that bottle opened! Cheers!
