These black 8” x 10” photo mats are acid-free. The mats are thick and I really like the beveled edge. They are perfect for my black-and-white historic photographs of my hometown and will ensure continuity.

I ordered this set of Frametory, 8x10 Photo Mat with White Core Bevel Edge 4.5x6.5 Openings to use for some 5x7 cyanotype prints.These mat boards are thin and typical of mat boards that are similarly priced. I will say, though, that the bevel cuts are very well done. They are straight and even and there are no anomalies at the corners. The sizes shown in the listing are accurate.

Please note: this review pertains to the 8x8” mats.I am a Zentangle artist and ordered these mats to display some of my work. This set of 10 8x8” mats has an opening exactly 3.5x3.5”. The inside corners have a white beveled edge to them as is typical with these mats. The material is thick and sturdy, and very comparable to other good quality mats I have ordered from different brands. I love the size options available, and these are a must have for artists for an elegant display.
