So, this item was easy to install. However, I leaned back against the back rest and heard a snap. I didn't think much of it, and then a couple of days later I went to adjust the back rest and the sleeve the back rest goes in came out with the back rest. The sleeve broke off at the welds.

I was skeptical however fits my 2021 street glide special perfectly. no bending anything. my Harley rider seat slides right in and is an exact fit. ( plus it’s black and good paint quality. I just put blue lock tight on bolts because that’s what I like to do.
