Nice hefty weapon, plenty sharp and a great wrap job on the staff part, but I had absolutely no trust that it would survive a single blow. After reading the other reviews I inspected the tang as closely as I could and noticed that it definitely had a built in fail point (unintentionally i'd assume) but either way this is a wall hanger only. Don't bother swinging it around unless you like hospital food.

This is a beautiful weapon however like mentioned in the other reviews the tang did break. I should of had my son (14 years old) mount it on his wall for display purposes and purchased him separate sword trainers but I did not.The take away is: if you or your child are looking for a glave to practice with, this is NOT the one. BUT it is a wonderfully beautiful piece. I am buy him another one for display because we both loved it so much.

As a spear it’s not bad. Though it’s a short spear it is SHORT and heavy. Instead of having 2 metal plates along it, the spear need at least another 8-12 inches in handle length but the idea of a solid end and full metal handle is cool it makes this thing hard to weild and evasive sparring is hard. If I were to grade it would be a B-

This fits so good with my assasin Renaissance fair character. It's solid and sharp. A heavy piece of steel. The sheath is also very well made. The 1st one purchased had a bend tip. No idea how or what could have bend it. It had a perfect curve. The seller was amazing with support. Sent me a pre paid return label and I purchased a 2nd one in the meantime so I wouldn't have to wait much longer and the seller refunded me for the 1st one and sent me a replacement. I have 2 now and really don't know what to do with the second one but what great customer service.

This is a good heavy blade and a great edge but there's 1 thing I'm a lil bued out about. When they went to cool it the blade warped a bit. Nothing to bad but its still very noticeable.

Says that it is one solid piece, but when I lightly used it to cut a bottle, the head came off. To my surprise, it was not one piece, but two, with the blade balancing on a wooden peg. It looks cool, though.

This item is poorly made, probably not heat treated, I have decided to keep it and practice some blacksmithing on it.I am disappointed with this item I pulled it from the box found it to be off center, then I realized it was completely soft and bendy, spring steel is springy not bendy. I bought a previous sword machete same brand stamped with the same logo. And no problems, shame this wasn't the same. Reason why I didn't return it, is because i had trouble printing the return sticker.
