I am usually a size small, but since this is basically a juniors brand, I thought I had better follow the size chart. So I measured my waist and found that it is 27 inches. According to the size chart, that is a size medium. I thought I had better listen to the company.But then it arrived, and it turns out the medium is too big! It's basically what I would expect a normal medium to be, which means that I should have gotten my regular size. This is definitely irritating. I mean, why would they have a size chart that inflates sizes to be larger if they aren't even going to follow it?

I ordered a medium based off experience of Forever 21 Junior’s sizing. I am 5’6” and 130 lbs, a consistent women’s size 4 (27 jeans). The medium fits my body exactly right! The legs are long enough to wear with medium heels but not so long you have to. There are real pockets in the side seams. The zipper is in the back but isn’t bothersome for sitting or driving. If you have shoulder mobility issues, this might not be the pants for you. The fabric is thick and these are real slacks meant for work or dressier occasions. Not a lot stretch and the waistline is perfectly smooth. There is a line down the middle of the front and back of the legs that adds to the style. The material is slight scratchy to the touch but not uncomfortable for me.Overall, I am pleased with the fit and quality. Actually, at the current price of $29.99 these wide leg pants exceeded my expectations!!!

These pants are just as expected. The fabric is nice and the construction seems solid. The fit seems true to size for me. The pants are perfect for office wear and will go well with a blazer or a cardigan. I love the pockets, they are big enough to hold my phone if needed. The back pockets are faux, but they look good. I also love that the fabric doesn't seem like it will wrinkle and I won't have to iron this. The two things that I don't love are number one how long they are. I am 5'5", and they were definitely dragging on the ground for me. with heels they will work, but the hems will be destroyed if I wear my regular flats. My second issue is the placement of the zipper. It is in the back, right in the middle. It seems like a side zipper would have been a better option, especially when trying to do up the hook at the top of the zipper without being able to see it at all.

These are really dressy looking pallazo pants. I wore these out one night and felt more dressed up than most people at the event that I attended. Based on the size chart I should have ordered an XL for the waist, but I ordered an L because XL are usually so large on me. Pants are usually just right in length and these were pretty long, I had to wear high heeled sandals. Great price at $18

I really like these pants but they are too big. I usually wear a medium but anything forever 21, I need to size up, so I always order a large. There is usually a size suggestion as well, based on my order history and it also suggested a large.I'm not between sizes on this either, I definitely could have gotten a medium.These are really cute though. They are super wide leg and the fit would be great if they were the right fit. Material is thick and drapes well. Still giving 5 stars because they'd be great if they were the right size.

these are so cute but i ordered considering the size chart and they were too small and it did not give me the option to change for a bigger size.it is too bad because the quality is amazing. and the fit would of been great.

I like the fabric of these pants. They are heavy and thick which is good so I don't have to be conscious of my underwear seams showing through my pants. I am only a little over 5 ft and weighs 100lbs. My waistline is between 27-29 in. The waist fits me okay but the length is too long. I have to cut 4-5 inches I think. So I don't recommend these for shorter women like me. They also look very baggy on me. The pants seem very well-made and good quality though.
