My foraging bag and knife arrived today. The knife has a crack in the wood by the pin that holds the blade. It will probably break when using it to cut mushrooms, making the knife useless. It would be nice if these companies provided a way to contact them directly since Amazon only replaces the entire thing. On a positive note, the foraging bag seems pretty good for the inexpensive price.

This is a handy 2 piece set for mushroom foraging. We used to just grab some paper bags and a paring knife from the kitchen to go foraging for chanterelles and other shrooms, but now we have this good sized airy lightweight sack and a sharp mushroom knife with brush ready to go. I like that there's a side pocket, the carry strap is adjustable, and the knife has a clip to attach to the bag. I judge it a good value for the price. Don't forget the field guide.

Good bag with sharp knife..came in handy during moral season. It works but not the best quality bag..a bit stiff but worth the money I paid.

If I was going to use the knife for cutting anything besides mushrooms, I'd say it was junk. It's seriously one of the cheapest feeling knives I've picked up in awhile. but it doesn't have to be stout to cut mushrooms, and it has a brush on it, so I'm ok with it. The bag makes me feel over prepared - its a big bag and its been a long time since I went that hard on picking mushrooms. But it feels well made and it packs up small, so I like it.

Love the durability and quality of the mesh bag and cutting tool. The mesh and material have held up to multiple entanglements to thorn bushes and brush. The strap is sturdy and adjustable which makes it great for all sizes. Great buy!

The bag itself is made fairly well and the size is good for non commercial picking. The knife works great and I was pleased at the quality. You really can’t beat the price. The only thing is I’d suggest is for it to be slightly more rigid on the bottom to not squish plants.
