This "GemFino Food Mill Stainless Steel With 3 Grinding Discs and Complete Canning Supplies Starter Kit of 8-Includes Tongs, Jar Lifter, Wrench, Lid Lifter, measurer,Funnel,Labels,Multifunctional Spoon(DM-BL-GR)" food mill is made very well. I got this mill for the necessity of mashing things; in the event of losing electricity, I still can mash potatoes in case the power goes out when I'm making supper, which has happened before.It's a pretty ingenuous piece of kitchenware and it does work very well, but I had to keep a silicone spatula on hand, to keep pushing the veggies under the masher arm and to remove the other mashed veggies that got stuck on the grinding plate. That's really a minor thing, considering it did mash things very well.I did also like the tools that came with this mill, because one can never have enough canning supplies. I like that they were all green and I've been needing a good lid lifter. I like the bubble remover as well as the jar lifter and the jar opener. The favorite though is the included scoop with the holes. This is by far the best vegetable scoop I now own. It picks up veggies in broth and drains them better than any of my other slotted spoons.Overall I really like this mill and the included tools. The whole kit is a great addition to my kitchen and will be used regularly.

I got this Food Mill & Canning Supplies Kit for my wife, who has always wanted a food mill to make homemade applesauce, guava and passionfruit butters and jellies, and the smoothest, dreamiest, fluffiest mashed potatoes ever. The food mill does a great job of straining out the small, hard seeds and skin from the guava and passionfruit, and produces smooth, lump-free results. She also discovered that the food mill could extract more of the fruit pulp better than using a sieve alone. The medium-sized grinding disc also produced a very smooth mashed potato and removed the skins very well. The high-quality stainless-steel construction feels sturdy and durable, and some of the included canning tools (like the jar lifter, tongs, funnel, and labels) are a great bonus for preserving homemade creations.However, she found the assembly process a bit tricky at first—it took some time to figure out how to install and remove the discs and blade and to properly lock the bar in place. Also, because of its rather large footprint, it takes up quite a bit of pantry space.On the plus side, the three different grinding discs allow for versatility, whether making tomato sauce, mashed potatoes, or pureed fruits and vegetables. The dual hook design ensures stability when placed over a mixing bowl, and the soft silicone-coated handle and crank provide a comfortable, non-slip grip. It's also easy to clean and dishwasher safe.Overall, this is a great tool for home cooks and canning enthusiasts but be prepared for a bit of a learning curve with assembly. If kitchen space isn't an issue, this is a solid, multifunctional addition to any kitchen!

This is a well made and durable food mill. It is more substantial in weight than others I have had in the past making it easy to use.

My old food mill finally just fell apart from about a thousand years of use! I saw this one, with several disks and a canning supply set, at a great price, and ordered. This is a very high quality mill, sturdy and durable, and very stable during use. The disks offer a lot of options. The mill is very easy to use, and very easy to take apart and put together. It cleans easily and well. The design is very functional. I use mine for primarily tomatoes during canning season, and having more canning supplies is a great touch. This would make a great set for a beginning canner, or anyone who is using tools, like mine, that had been through many owners and had a long and productive life, but needed to be retired! I am delighted with this set, and would recommend it without hesitation.

The food mill came with all the essential pieces needed for a first time home canner (minus the water bath). The food processor is easy to put together and operate. I like the different gauge disks allowing me to make a chunky applesauce but also make a smooth cranberry sauce with no seeds. The funnel is helpful in getting the food into my canning jars without making a huge mess and the headspace measuring stick keeps me from just "eyeballing" it. I love this set and highly recommend!

If you do any canning or food preservation, you need this set! It comes with so much! The food mill is so easy to use and cleans up easily!

Where I am from, we cook a lot of food that we do in the food mill. My dad have gifted me one years ago, but it only came with one of the blades. They are food that I am still unable to use it for. I have been on the lookout for some thing that has more blades. When I saw this, I knew it was going to be perfect..It came with three different blades. It has the bottom where you can sit it. It came with tools that I don’t even know existed. I love it.I have already used a couple of time to make food with it. I’m actually thinking of buying one for my parents because I believe the one they have is also old. Right now it is unavailable, but I am waiting just forward to come back on the market so I could buy more for friends and family.I really really like this and I can’t wait to put it to more usage.

I originally got this food mill for simple tasks like making mashed potatoes and applesauce, but having this kit has opened my eyes to its versatility. As a newcomer to using a food mill, I found it to be effective and straightforward for the intended tasks. This kit is a great starting point, especially if you’re new to canning or basic food processing around mason jars.Some of the additional tools included in the set are a bit basic or feel on the cheaper side (plastic or single-use design), but they are helpful to have for someone getting started. For the price point, it’s a solid kit that performs well. I’m already finding myself reaching for it more often than I expected as I experiment with different recipes. Overall, I’m happy with this set and would recommend it to others.
