Long handled tea ball works very well. It holds Teas in without dispensing them into the water.

I purchased this along with a bag of flavored loose tea. While I love the overall design of the holder and that it can remain in the cup while drinking, I don’t like that some of the loose tea continues to leak out of the holes into the cup.
