The only difference between these wheels and standards are the tread on these is squared off at the edges. there are no other traction-aiding changes. the rubber is very thick and the body of the wheel is very small, making them quite heavy. the dual bearings are standard steel bearings but on two of the wheels the bearings had some roughness and on half of the wheels the bearings weren't parallel with each other. overall these or below-average quality for standard wheels and almost useless for speed wheels.

Alright these wheels say speed but honestly it depends on where you use them and on what. These wheels are 65mm tall you get way more clearance outdoors, they are also 82A which is as grippy as softened chewing gum. They are great for trails and the street so asphalt cement you don't feel all the bumps and vibrating because these are so big they spit rocks out of the sides as you go over them with.. Speed! No speed and you'll trip over a pebble or crack on occasion. Now if you want to go faster than 78a wheels sure these would be considered fast outside but in roller derby sometimes you need the added grip so if it's sport court idk you'll have to see for yourself. The price is outstanding for wheels alone but add the bearings and this is a steal of a deal. The bearings aren't brand name and are better suited for a novice skater. These will tick you off if you want speed so just invest in better quality bearings right away if that's what you want. The color is different which was the appeal to me, very classy set of 8.I would highly recommend

Skated outdoors with these wheels and they were surprisingly good! I easily rolled over smaller sticks and leaves, as well as cracks in the pavement. The wheels were much better than I expected for the price! The bearings wouldn't even spin for 5 seconds before I even put the nuts on, so I switched them out before ever trying to skate them. I would definitely recommend different bearings, but the wheels are definitely worth trying!

Fairly hard. Bearings don’t come out of wheel so you can’t use better ones. The ones in wheels are ok but I like to be able to change at will.

Got these for the local paved trails, did the 5k loop, rolled over small twigs and pebbles no problem. Was more fun than the rink.

They look good on my skates. They roll smooth and grip the skate rink floor good.

I used this wheel on an outdoor rink and it was great. Soft wheel, a little tall, but rolled over every bump effortlessly. Also, no rolling resistance with the abec bearings.But…….be careful if you decide to use them on an indoor, waxed floor, roller rink. The grip is incredible and really amplifies mistakes.Highly recommend!

Bought these just to try them out. They seem high quality and roll quite nicely. They come pre loaded with bearings so I will be seeing how long the bearings last.
