I have a bunch of old film cameras. Some need some work, and ive jerry rigged stuff before... but having this tool makes it a heck of a lot eaiser. I do find that occasionally the "bits" fall out. And the included allen key stripped immediately. But the tool its self is aluminum, and is fine enough for my use!

It's not necessarily very often that you need this tool but when you need it, you'll wished you had it!I realize this tool was made for repairing lenses and that's exactly what it can do without question, allowing you to do repairs or simply clean out dust that has leaked into the lens. But as a cinematographer and a photographer, there's definitely been a few times where the filter on my lens was tightened too much and I could not get it loose. That's where this wonderful little tool comes in and can save the day. It works accurately and precisely, locking into the small notches that you see on lenses and filters, allowing you to break the grip and loosen the filter or glass front, without damaging or scratching any metal surfaces. It worked beautifully and accurately on my lenses and filters. Like I said, it's not something that you have to use very often but when you need it, you'll definitely want to have it in your tool kit!
