I replaced the locking nut on a 24 year old Jackson rr1. Nothing has changed. It fit perfect and the intonation was dead on even on the first 3 frets. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Mounting holes on nut did not line up with mounting holes on guitar, returned item and was charged a restocking fee. Great product. Definitely an upgrade from the cheap Chinese one that came on my guitar I ended up stripping threads on I barely even tightened. But I’m giving a 4 star because it came with two completely different screws. One for the front mount, and one for a rear neck mount. Had to reuse old ones.

The metal used in the original Floyd Rose products is much harder and superior to the softer alloys used in the Floyd Special and similar Floyd licensed knock offs. It will hold up a lot longer and not crap out. End of story.

Purchase a new Jackson Soloist with Korean made Floyd Rose that would not stay in tune. After a quick set up I realized the locking nut was not holding during deep drops or extreme rises. Ordered this one and BAM !! locked down tight. No tuning problems. Great product, does what it is supposed to do
