If u live in the rust belt buy the clamp for the cat side. Not sure why it's not included. Hardest part is getting old exhaust off. Took 45min to install. Very mellow on start-up and idle. Sounds good under half or more throttle. Not loud like straight pipes.

After having this on my 2018 silverado for almost 2 years I've had a few small issues but was easily fixed. First major problem is the install of of the rear hanged to the frame by a self tapper. In my case I pre drilled a pilot hole and attempted to drill the self taped screw in. After 4 months or so the threads were pulled out and dropped the tail pipes and hit my drive shaft then box. Second might have just been my case but the 2 clams that hold the tail on both snapped and were replaced. And lastly I would recommend replacing your factory "v band", the oem one snapped in my case when installing. Cost about 35$CAD

This exhuast installed pretty fast and easy. The only issue I had was that the self threading bolts were softer than my frame and they melted rather than thread into the holes I drilled. It was an easy fix though. I drilled the holes bigger and tapped them for 3/8" cap bolts. I love the sound, it's aggressive when on the gas but quiet at idle. I didn't want to annoy my neighbor too much in the winter while warming the truck up. Over all I'm very pleased and would install this again.

I knew this would take longer to install in my driveway without a lift available, and working with a floor jack and jack stands. Once I got the old exhaust out, I found that it required some percussive maintenance to get the dual tail pipes into the muffler outlets, as the bracket was welded slightly out of alignment. Once that was done it was just a matter of aligning it all and tightening it down. As many others have mentioned, the "self tapping" screws for the rear hanger are total crap. They are softer than the frame steel, and strip the threads right off even when properly drilled. Super glue, duct tape or zip-ties would be a better choice. I just drilled the frame and put some 1/4-20 through bolts in it and it's solid. The sound is a really nice, low rumble. Not too loud at all and no silly rappy noise or resonant drone at cruise. I will have to drive it more to evaluate any perceived performance gains. I have always been happy with Flowmaster's sound. Overall, very nice, except for the crappy hardware.

Easy to install sounds great. It give the truck a deeper aggressive sound not loud just gives it a little kick which is what I wanted for this truckYou will need a saw to cut the old muffler in half to take offAlso the small piece in the kit is for the crew cab you do not need it for the double cabGlad I bought it looks great

I was worried about ordering these because some reviewers said that they were too loud!To my ears they sound fine and are a happy medium. They fit what I Looking for as my 2016 Silverado 1500 is my daily driver.Iām glad I pulled the trigger on this exhaust. These Flowmasters give a DEEP Rumble but enough to let you know you have aftermarket exhaust. Plus the Look of the dual pipes in front of the rear wheel is kick ass!

I installed this on my 2018 Sierra 5.3 Z71. It now sounds real nice. Before it sounded wimpy with the stock exhaust, the Flowmaster catback FlowFX kit has woken it up. It has a nice burble to it as it idles and growls as it goes down the highway. Not too loud but loud enough! Price was real good compared to others. I definately recommend this system to anyone who has a silverado/sierra with the 5.3! It was easy to install once the old system was out and was approx. 2 hrs start to finish.
