This is great! It makes a sucking, gurgling noise when first turned on that issue bit loud but subsided while pouring. It just sits on top of the bottle opening, so it can easily fall off if bumped or jostled in any way. I wish it secured onto the bottle somehow. But I love that it’s rechargeable, compact design and fair price.

We use this pump with 5 gallon water bottles. It is easy to switch from one bottle to another. It is able to run until the bottle is pretty much empty. The flow of water is not so fast that it splashes/makes a mess but is more than adequate. I'd compare it to a faucet on half way. Pushing the control button to turn it on and then off again is simple and easy. We use it daily and are happy with it.

UPDATE 8/2024:The next one only lasted about 7 months before starting to make horrible noises and working poorly. Finally decided to try a different one with a 2 year warranty to see if it works better.UPDATE 12/2023:This one lasted a little over a year and I replaced it with the same. Still not as good as the original, but probably as good as any of the others, so bumping up to three stars. Seems to work fine while continuously plugged in. It is pretty slow.UPDATE 11/2021:This pump has now been replaced with the rechargeable one you can find elsewhere on Amazon. There is no indication whether it can be charged continuously. Sparse instructions imply removing it and recharging periodically. Comes with a short charge cable but no charger. I avoided these originally and ended up with the old version of this product. Sad that they have eliminated the good version.Original review of old version:These work better than any other inexpensive pump I have bought. As others have mentioned, it doesn't fit tightly on most bottles. A rubber grommet of some type would be a great help for that. The stream is also quite fast, making it impossible to fill shallow things like measuring cups and ice trays without making some mess. Conversely, the flow rate is not very high, so it takes a surprisingly long time to fill something large.The biggest problem with these is the manufacturing defect. They develop a leak which drips into the switch assembly, eventually corroding to the point of failure. Expect it to last about a year before this occurs. They have a one year warranty, so be watching for the leak causing water to drain back into the bottle during use so that you can make sure to get a replacement before the warranty expires. By the time the switch fails it may be too late.

This is much easier than using a hand pump and flipping the bottle into a decantor. The pump comes with both AC adapter and a battery pack (batteries not included). The pump works very well and pumps a large valume of water for how small it is. My only complaint is that the button should be a momentary button instead of on/off button. Once let go, the pump should stop instead of the button having to be pressed again to stop the pump. Overall it works well and did the job I needed it to do.

great solution to not having water dispenser. to be clear I thought this was rechargeable but its NOT however still works great but has to be plugged in . the water pressure is great flow to refill my bottles. I still wanted a rechargeable one will order another but this is worth it if you want to keep plugged. im not sure though if the rechargeable one will have the same power as this plugged one with super water flow will try to follow it up

I am so happy with this purchase! Previously, I had a manual pump. You know, that you pump by hand. This is far superior. I want a pump because I don't want to have to invert 5 gallons of water every time I run out of water. My back isn't into that. This is the perfect solution! You press a button and voila, a steady stream of water is dispensed for you.This fits with plenty of room on my 5 gallon bottles. It doesn't need to create a seal around the lip for it to work, so they've left room for a larger lip. I'm confused by the reviews that say the flow rate is too low. What are you expecting? If the flow were any stronger, it would knock the glass out of your hand or splash you in the face. It's perfect as far as I'm concerned. I couldn't be happier!

Item as described, works correctly. You must push the on button to start water flow and push again to stop water flow. You do not need to hold the button in by hand. Push once to start, push again to stop.This item snaps firmly on the top of 5 gallon Sparklett's water bottles. I'm stating this because other buyers mentioned it doesn't fit tightly on their bottle tops. We have 5 companies in Las Vegas that deliver 5 gallon bottles of water, fortunately mine fits tight so I don't have the problem with a loose top like some other purchasers mentioned in their reviews. If you use Sparklett's be assured it snaps on tightly so you do not need to hold it in place when using the spout. All I can say is change to Sparkletts if you want it to firmly fit the bottle top.
