Use of tape or clamps may be helpful in securing material in position while adhesives bond. Always install Flexible Moulding first is a relaxed non-tensile state. Nails should be kept to a minimum and 3/8” from any edge. For best results, we recommend using Loctite PL Premium Polyurethane Construction Adhesive.
    Cutting
Material can be cut, shaped and sanded using standard woodworking equipment. Note that the wood grain on Stain grade material is only on the surface and will be eliminated if sanded.

Primer coats are not recommended. Use water based Acrylic Latex Paint. When using Alkyd Enamels an exterior primer such as Kilz is required. When using Alkyd Enamels additional drying time may be necessary. Never paint before installation. The material is flexible and the paint may crack during installation.

Awesome product. Durable, flexible to fit pretty much whatever you need it for. I installed a pony wall with a glass tile back splash. My concrete countertop was not even so I had a wonky gap to trim off and this worked perfectly. Check out the photo to see the trimmed end. This stuff cuts and finishes great. Takes paint easily.

This stuff is amazing. I had added laminate flooring upstairs, years earlier, and hadn't removed the original baseboards. Now that we're getting ready to sell, I added this to cover the gap between new flooring and baseboards and it looks fantastic; better than I had hoped. I was able to cut this using large tin snips, and shape it with a box cutter. I glued it to the baseboards using the adhesive someone else recommended (FastGrab?) and occasionally had to use a nail (tiny nails in a staple gun) to hold in place. Our house is old and there are no straight walls or perfect right angles; this stuff conformed to every shape and bump.

Surprisingly flexible, easy to use. Stayed in place with construction adhesive and minimal wait time. Cuts with a knife. I used it around the base of a tub. Did not need nails. Paints well. Be sure to read enclosed instructions.

The flexibility of the trim is great, however I had a hard time painting it. I would definitely suggest a good sanding to help the paint adhere to the trim.

The product is okay. The color of mine was off-white, so it definitely needed paint. I needed a flexible moulding to trim out an uneven area that also gets some moisture, so functionally, this product makes sense. What you gain in flexibility, you lose in appearance once it's installed.
