It's a metal clip, not easy to screw up.

As an infrequent user, I found these points difficult to use as they are small for my hands. Perhaps if I knew more I would have understood the #7 as a small size. Be forewarned they are small.

I have used glazing points of many types. I prefer these push points vs the basic triangle. Not only are they easy to put in, but they also ease out nicely if you need to change the glass later on. When repairing some loose glazing, you can reuse these points without resetting.

My Husband should have read the box information better before he ordered them. They do the job but the box is so small and not a lot in there for the money. But he really needed them so he kept them.

A less expensive way to frame vs buying a glazier gun and points. Fairly easy to use if the frame wood is not too hard.
