These ukulele tuners are only a start to replacing your old tuning pegs. Although these tuning pegs do not come with instructions, they’re are easy to install and the parts fit together. However, there is no way to size them to you ukulele because to washer is paper thin. I had to dig around my husband’s workbench for 4 hard rubber/silicon 1/4” washers that (by luck) snugly fit the peg! Only after that could I fit the tuning pegs to my ukulele. I did use the tiny paper-thin washer that came in the package to help the peg “grab” the wood better when tuning. FYI - inexpensive Grover tuning pegs come with the thicker washers, I think they’re plastic and function well. My advice is pay a little more for tuners from a known reputable company, because as you know… “You get what you pay for.” :)

Found this old ukulele in storage and the tuners were loose and falling apart. Replaced them with these new ones and they work great. They fit without modifications and they keep the uke in tune.

These do their job, to a point. But they are very cheaply built pegs and some of the better known brands can be had for just a little more money. I came on Amazon today to order three sets of pegs for ongoing projects but will not purchase these moving forrward.

These pegs plus all the luthier skills I could muster helped turn a tourist trap Uke into a real, well playing instrument for a friend’s little son. They were among the crucial elements helping me turn a negative into a happy positive. Zero complaints.

Use these little tuners on a 3D printed ukulele... The tuners were great, and easy to install.As a side note, the travel ukulele models on thingiverse... Very hard to tune
