This is a quality heavy duty gun case. An AR15 with a collapsible butt stock and a 16" barrel will fit if you collapse the stock all the way. I have a fairly thick butt stock on my ARs. The cheap thin stock will fit with room to spare.

This is a well made gun case at a fair price.

I was looking for a replacement case for my Steinberger GL4T electric guitar as I had to throw out the softcase that came with the guitar. They don't make the softcase for this guitar anymore and regular guitar cases won't really work for headless guitars and they are pretty expensive. Custom made Steinberger hard case start at $300 US so I started looking at alternatives. Since I used a larger gun case for my HeadRush Pedalboard, I figured there might be one that can hold my GL4T. The dimensions are just enough to allow the guitar to fit in the center of the case. I'm debating whether or not to cut out the shape of the guitar on the bottom layer of foam but the foam is fairly thin to begin with so I may just let the foam compress around the guitar for now.

What a great durable and cost efficient case to hold my photography and videography lighting equipment!I purchased this case to hold my NEEWER TL60 RGB Tube Light Sticks because I didn't like the soft case that the lights initially came with. With this case I'm easily able to secure 4 light sticks and the pre-cut foam easily allowed me to put my own straps to secure the lights to the foam so that they don't bounce around while in transport. Best of all it's lightweight and won't be too much of a hassle to carry when transporting the lights. I guess the only thing I wish this had was a shoulder strap mount somewhere on the case. You'll have to carry this case by the handle only.Definitely try out this case, you won't regret it!

The case came intact with no defects.I really like the optional extra storage compartments and tie downs. It’s not a vault but it’s a hard enough case to travel with to the range and store locked up at home.I like it for the price👍

ConsFirst impressions are this thing is wide. I mean, a good 50% wider than I think necessary. I have double depth pistol cases this thick. The foam is thick, and it seems to protect the game well. Keep in mind, I’m used to AR soft side rifle cases, so this bard case is much thicker.I’d also give the latches a 5/10 for functionality/durability.ProsThis thing is cheap (Inexpensive), which elevates my ability to tolerate the cons. The case is the right length for an AR pistol. It fits in there nicely. The plastic sides are on par with you’d think a $45 flambeau case should be. Durable enough.SummaryYou get what you pay for, but this is a functional case, that holds my AR fairly secure on car trips, trips to the range. Etc. I would not trust this to rugged air travel handling, but it’s certainly worth $45. Happy with the purchase.

I got it for 28 bucks! Nice value. Like other have said the latches are not the greatest, but they for sure are not just falling off by themselves. With proper care and not abusing it I dont see why they wont last. If you're into banging and throwing your stuff around then the might be an issue. I try to take care of my stuff so no problems there. It's perfect sized for my firearm and has room for more. Its sturdy feeling and I feel confident that its protecting my gun. It is water proof in that if it's raining it wont allow the inside to get wet, unless you literally let it get soaked or drop it in water then yeah you're screwed. For the money it's great.

I don't write a great many reviews, but sometimes you come across a product that you feel is worth twice the price. I have never seen a case at this price that I felt was worth more than I paid until now. The case is sturdy and well made, it fits together and the foam is thick enough to protect it's cargo. What's even better is the care and thought that went into the design. The ability to section off parts of the case in several different configurations and the fact their are places to attach straps inside set this case apart. Combine that with pre-scored foam that you can very easily remove the section for the walled off part, then put the foam into each section and have it fit perfect would have surprised me in a case costing over $100. I have paid more than twice as much for a scoped rifle case that didn't feel like this level of craftsmanship. Add in the bonus that it's TSA and airline compliant as well and score! My son made off with the screw pack before I saw it, wanting to add it to his legos, so when I contacted the company to find out what size screws to buy, they offered to ship them less than a day later. I had found them by that point and declined, but it was nice to see the offer. When I finally get around to buying new fishing gear, their boxes are going to be check first. It's refreshing to see well made products that are backed by great customer service.Very happy with my purchase and it's definitely recommended!Cheers,Michael

As others have stated, it is not super sturdy like a Plano or Pelican, and it does not have built-in locks, nor the pluck-and-pull foam. But for the price (~$40), it is quite worth while, though Amazon fluctuates the price it would still be an okay price @ $50.The convoluted foam works fine to keep anything in place during handling and transport. The 4 pack Master Lock 131Q Covered Aluminum Padlock set is a good match for this case as the case has 4 small places for locks. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004Y8D4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)For storing something that would deal poorly with moisture, you might want to put in some desiccant packets as the case does not have a gasket seal to keep out moisture. It mentions Zerust VCI protection, but that is only on the internal storage dividers, not the entire case. (You could also put whatever you don't want to rust inside of a VCI treated bag or cover with VCI treated paper.)
