The entire kit worked perfectly to overhaul my Husqvarna 51 rancher. The air filter assembly was actually a slightly better fit and more airtight than the original snap together one. The kit came well packaged with extra tubing and fuel filter which is a bonus for the next tune-up. Great kit, will be buying another for the next overhaul in a few years.

Pure Gasoline will keep you from having to get this.... also it would have been nice with some instructions, even minimal like how much torque to apply to the mounting bolts for the carb, and a tip on how to change out the fuel line.A little figuring out did the trick on the lack of instructions. One thing that would have been nice is if they would put new bolts for securing the air filter and carb to the engine. mine was held on with a concrete screw and a stripped out original bolt. considering the style of fastener good an snug is a good tightness for these fasteners. after a an hour of getting parts changed out. and a good 10 pulls to get fuel into the carb. she started right up and ran great. a little tweaking of the adjustments and it starts right up on first pull and runs great nice low idle and quick throttle response, and she really screams wide open....

Carburetors are tough. I didn't want to rate it without really putting it to the test. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. And sometimes, they work, but only for a short time. I ran my chainsaw pretty hard recently, after buying this a year ago, and it still runs just like it should. It was easy to swap, it fit correctly, and easy to adjust.

Parts fit perfectly for my husqvarna 55 air injection model. To adjust carb, turn low screw to the right in the whole way, back out one and a quarter turn. For high end, turn to the right the whole way and back out 3/4 turn. Runs perfect then.

The Carburetor is great it ran with no adjustment. The reason i was replacing the carb was my Husqvarna 55 would start and run but when you gave it gas it bogs under throttle and would die i thought the carb was gummed up. but it was the fuel line was so old and soft (15 years old) it was sucking the line flat under throttle. The yellow fuel line that comes with the carb is stiff and does not let the filter move around in the tank. the original was a flexible black rubber
