This was my THIRD paper trimmer (all the exact same kind, same brand) fromFiskars. With years between each purchase, I really wanted to give thisbrand a chance. I really wanted to believe I was getting a one-off. But after3 purchases of the same items, I no longer believe that. I will never purchasethis brand again. Not even scissors. I'm just done.I never thought cutting a straight line could be so costly and near impossible to attain, yet here I am,so many years later looking at paper cutters, that are anything but thisbrand. And I feel horrible for saying that, but it's just how I feel. My only regret isthat I didn't return this item. I was so frustrated, (also had a family member in themiddle of a medical crisis) that I just let the return window get away from me. With somany positive reviews, I thought surely this time was THE time I'd get a winner. If you'rethinking it's just me, it's not. I showed the cut paper to my husband and said, this is a square,any thoughts? He burst our laughing. (I'm 59 years old, I know how to measure, I've beencrafting for over 30 years). The square paper wasn't off THAT much, but it wasn't anythingI'd feel good about next to another crafter.There's no reason that something like measurement shouldn't be exact. We're not evendoing millimeters here, but if we were, you'd be very embarrassed. Or you should be.Come on Fiskars, get it together, Not for me, I'm done, but for the next bunch of craftersthat buy your products.So I've lost my money on THREE of these paper trimmers now. You won't get me again!Good luck to you crafters that demand your measurements be exact and your cutters toactually cut straight. I hope you get a better product than I have gotten. I really do.

I purchased this trimmer to cut Cricut vinyl and stationary. The cuts are very clean, accurate and square. However, Cricut vinyl is about 1/4" wider than 12", leaving that much that needs to be cut separately. I really like this trimmer (Fiskar), so I'm going to look for one that is a bit wider.
