As in other reviews, the wood surface and staining are uneven. Looks like they repurpose rejects in a lumberyard without putting in much work. I tried them twice and returned both times. It may be OK if the room also has a very rustic look, but didn’t match my regular suburban living room. There are other block shelves with exposed wood grain which are nicely cut and lacquered, but they are about five times more expensive. Either those or go for regular thin shelves from imitation wood, which is what I ended up doing.

Screws are a Little thin, I recommend using cabinet screws instead, the wood bracket is too cheap and it should’ve been metal (I’m okay with paying more)The mantle isn’t leveled after install.

Love this piece. My husband built us a fireplace and needed a mantel for the cherry on top. The quality is incredible. It’s pretty heavy so you need to make sure it’s hung correctly.

OK quality, good color, easy to mountmounting to a brick wall, had to use better screws than ones provided. They were to small in diameter

This mantel came exactly as advertised. The quality us excellent and the installation was a breeze. I recommend it highly. The only issue I had was the strong odor from the wood. When opening the box I had to take it outside to let it air out, but after that it wss fine.
