As a crafter, I have to use scissors when I have a lot of things to cut. I had one of the boards where the razor cuts up and down but over time, it gets crappy. I saw this, and knew I needed it. It reminds me of when I was in elementary school school and teacher would cut a lot of papers at one time. The blade is super sharp and can cut a lot at once. It also fits my table and is really sturdy. If you need to cut things a lot, I highly recommend. 11/10

I was looking for something to help cut vinyl stickers I'm making that was both easy to use and adjustable. It met both of those standards as well as very lightweight, sharp blade, easy to store & doesn't take up much space.

This paper cutter was straightforward to put together and was completed in less than five minutes. I attempted to make several cuts of various paper types with this cutter. My first attempt was with a single piece of heavy-weight cardstock. The cut was precise and without error. However, when I attempted to cut ten sheets of 8.5X11-inch 20-pound copy paper, I ran into problems. I used the guides to measure my cut and properly held the paper in place with my left hand. The steel cutter went through the ten sheets of 20lb paper, but the result was not a straight edge. Instead, I had a curved and ragged-edge cut. This was with only ten sheets. The product description page says the paper cutter will cut 30 sheets of paper, which is simply not true. This paper cutter works fine for occasional home usage but will not work acceptably in an office or classroom where a more substantial cutter is needed. Considering its cutting quality, this product is not comparable to similar products priced at this level. You can get a similar paper cutter on Amazon for 60% less. Depending on your needs, you may wish to look elsewhere for a paper cutter.

When I took this out of the package I was skeptical. It's plastic (obviously) and definitely looks it. I was worried it was going to be a poor-quality guillotine and not really cut through paper, or get jammed, or any other number of things that can go wrong with a guillotine. Imagine my surprise when it cut right through paper so, so easily and exactly. Plus it comes with a handle you can attach to keep your fingers safe, and a plastic guard so you don't cut your fingers on the side you're pushing the paper through. And of course... IT'S PINK! So impressed with it and it's going to be a huge office staple for as long as it holds up which is hopefully for a LONG time :)

While this is very lightweight, and easy to store away it’s WAY overpriced. I searched comps on different sites and the way this should be priced is in the low $30 range. It cuts through single sheets of paper fine, but I tried to cut a few pages of a magazine and it didn’t cut well at all. It does have a latch lock to keep the blade down and locked. It’s plastic, so I’m not sure how long this could hold up. I am thankful to have it, for small sheets of paper to be cut, but it should be much cheaper.
