I purchased this tub because it was the only drop-in tub that fit my space and looked modern. It is a beautiful bathtub and I'm 100% happy with my purchase. I do wish that I could have purchased the (standard) 60" version but my space is only 58" from wall to wall. My only other option was to purchase an alcove tub but I really wanted a rectangular drop-in bathtub. Being that I'm 6' tall I can not stretch out my legs; however, I can still get a great full body soak. My wife and I use it occasionally but my (young) daughters use it daily and it fits them nicely. It looks like a regular sized tub too. as it is 54" in length. This smaller tub is more eco-friendly since it uses less water than a larger bathtub. Most of the alcove tubs allow you to stretch a little more but then use up too much water in the process. I really like the overall design of the tub and the back support hump which is very comfortable.I reached out to Fine Fixtures a few times before purchasing my tub. They were quick to respond and very helpful.***Recommendations...1. I purchased the trip lever with this tub. You can also buy one at Home Depot. If you use their trip lever DO NOT USE THE THREE TIGHTENING NUTS PROVIDED BY THE KIT! I had a contractor install my tub and I checked his work after only to discover a leak at two of the nuts. Took me a minute to figure out that the not became warped so I went to Lowe's and purchased three packs of Keeney Heavy Duty Nut & Washer. The Keeney nuts are A LOT BETTER.2. While soaking I noticed that the tub kept making a loud gurgling noise. I tried everything to stop it. I adjusted the linkage assembly multiple times but could not stop the gurgling noise. I ended up buying a pop up stopper that you use with your foot. It stopped water from draining out of the tub which eliminated all noise.3. The logo on the tub is a giant F with the name Fine Fixtures. While I was messing with the linkage assembly the Fine Fixtures in the logo came off. I tried removing the F but it seems to be very secure. I am planning on contacting Fine Fixtures to see if they can send me a decal to stick back on the tub.
