Functions as intended however be aware that power lead clamps to your hose can get lightly snagged during use.

Con este deflector ya no tengo el problema del atasco de la manguera de la aspiradora con el riel guía (además es compatible con los rieles de Makita) o con la mesa de trabajo. Mi sierra de inmersión usa baterías por lo que no puedo opinar sobre el uso del deflector con sierras de cable. Saludos.

Inexpensive ( for Festool) accesory, and I guess works as it should. The issue I have with its use is it fails to keep the vaccuum hose aligned directly behind the saw. The hose falls off and jams between the edge of the workpiece and the plastic strip on the side of the tracksaw track. If the vacuum is in line with the saw, this issue is lessened, but it's never really gone. In all, I'd rate this accessory "meh" to what is an outstanding tracksaw and track.

Works way better than expected - we looked at it and said really ... well, it's worth a try ... as hose hang ups are the only pain in using this awesome saw.Been using it for two days now without a single hang up - It is a must if you are using this saw a lotyou just start your cut and go - no worrying about the cord and hose - made a 13' cut today with no problemsI am getting another to keep on my short rail as well.

It does help, but only getting the cord and hose suspended above the work surface is really effective. Overall I think this thing is worth having around, but just barely.
