The water reveal portion of the book is nice. My 2-year-old loved painting the pages with water to reveal the colors. The Velcro dots have to be assembled to the 48 glossy cardboard pieces. This requires 96 pieces of Velcro to be placed in the book and on the pieces. I put the hook portion of the Velcro in the book so that the toddler would be picking up the smoother piece of Velcro to handle. There is not a place to store the pieces unless you keep them attached to the book and take them off every time the child wants to use the book. I like the pictures and the quality of the pieces. I like that the pictures are labeled in the book, but the sea horse is labeled a "hippocampus" which in English is a part of the brain. The star fruit is labeled "carambola". This may be correct, but star fruit is a more commonly used name for it, and it is definitely easier for a toddler to say. I personally am not familiar with the mangosteen fruit either. It is not a common fruit in my area. The number page has numbers in the shape of animals. This requires some processing and imagination that may be beyond a toddler's ability. The long neck of a giraffe makes the number one. The number 6 is a snail sticking it's head out of it's shell. If you saw some of the animal images that represent a number, you would have no idea that it represented a number unless you saw it with the other animal numbers that are more obvious than others. There are only four pages in the book to color. The other six pages have the matching pieces with Velcro. The quality of the book is good.

I love the idea that the color comes onto the page with water. It has plenty of stickers for her to choose from. This is a great item to keep her busy and not make a mess.

I bought this coloring book for my four-year-old son to keep him busy. He loves the idea of coloring with water and revealing the color. Once dry, you can reuse it without any mess; the color lasts about five to ten minutes. You just need to fill the pen with water and start coloring. It also comes with Velcro dot tape that you need to put on stickers and the book. My son actually did it by himself once I taught him, so that makes the stickers reusable. It's a great gift for children and perfect for traveling.

Got this coloring book for my 3 year old. I like the size of the book because it's not too big. It keeps the kid focus and complete one page at a time. The puzzle-like activies helps the kid with brain development.

This water drawing book has a lot going on. The Velcro stickers are needed in order to put the stickers in place. You have to punch out each sticker, so it's not really a sticker. There is no adhesive per se. But they do punch out very easily. The stickers are cute and well done artistically. The water pen is a screw in after you fill it with water. It is very flimsy plastic and did not hold up very well with use. Once the pages are painted with water and it dries you can reuse it. The book itself falls open and everything falls out all over the place. It works best when laid out flat, so it's not like a book. Definitely for a 3–4-year-old. It is an ok product.

Honestly, it was even fun for my girlfriend and I and we are well outside the target age range lol. I bought this with the intention of giving it as a gift but ended up needing to get another one because my girlfriend has too much fun with it.The water pen is easy to fill and use, and other than the initial peel and stick of the Velcro’s (which took like 5 minutes) it’s super easy and pretty educational for a 3 year old. I’d say it’s better at shape matching more than anything but hey, that’s something well worth teaching a kid.The Velcro stickers are pretty self explanatory and the water reactive pages erase when they dry, so super easy to you. Just a really fun product honestly.

Both my daughter and I love books like these for traveling with my grandsons, or just when we want to have some quiet, wind-down time in the evening or late afternoon, so I picked this up. The boys have had water reveal coloring books before and they love them and they love create a scene reusable sticker books. My disappointment with this product began when I opened it up to find ONLY FOUR color-with-water panels, with the remains six being what are termed as reusable sticker pages, but are actually matching item panels. The more disappointing aspect of this is that I had to peel and stick velcro dots on to every sticker panel and on the back of every punch out shape (and there are 48 of these!). I had to think very carefully about which velcro dot (the hook or the loop dot) should go where; I decided hook on panel pages and loop on the cutouts for various reasons. As far as play goes, the water reveal panels are a hit while the ’sticker’ panels were more enjoyable for my youngest grandson than the older one. The sticker panels have a shape and you have to match it with the correct cutout shape. It is nice that each shape also has a name under it, although some of the names were unknowns to me (hippocampus? It’s a seahorse!). My final con with this set is that once you have put the velcro dots on the back of the punch outs, and punched them out, you now have to keep track of a lot of loose pieces; we simply keep them in a sandwich bag, but it’s only a matter of time before some ‘disappear’. Quite frankly, for what this costs I expected better. This busy book does have its merits but in my opinion the cons outweigh the pros.
