Same problems as other reviewers had. The finish on the saddles is what I would expect from a $30 bridge and the trem bar was bent on arrival. I was like, damn these dudes just gave up on making good things. But then I zoomed into the listing picture and sure enough, they look as fugly as mine. Maybe they took the Relic thing too far and they just can’t make nice looking parts anymore … pretty disappointing in any case.

The fact that I ordered this Original Fender Part and I came with the amount of rust and terrible quality in the painting has let me down in such a great way! I've been a big Fender fan for the last 20 years, and still, this is terrible.Also, very poor threading in the tremolo block. The arm won't even screw in and there is no way it's coming in without damaging the block or the hole bridge.I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this bridge or their "Original Fender Parts".

I had to order 2 to get one good one. One of them had very poor threading in the trem block. The arm wouldn't even screw in, but I used a tap to clean up threads to make it usable (5mm x .8mm). Both had multiple saddles with imperfections under the gold plating. That would have been fine for a relic build, but that's not what I'm going for. Neither one should have left a factory with any basic quality control. You shouldn't need to order 12 saddles to find 6 that are finished properly.

I like it. I just wish it had the pop-in tremolo arm as on the American Deluxe. I really like this style saddle, and being able to get this in gold is great. But I don't care for the shape of the traditional tremolo arm, and I much prefer the american deluxe arm shape and pop-in functionality. The arm on these always gets loose, and the flaky "drop a machine spring in the hole" approach, while temporarily effective, is still a pain...the springs get lost, you have to buy more...they get stuck or fall out at inopportune times etc.Now Fender just needs to do the gold finish on the ultra strat/American Deluxe bridge with the pop in arm. It is unfortunate that the baseplates are not interchangeable (the tremolo arm hole is located differently.) It is possible to buy the gold pop in arm, but apparently not the gold bridge it pops into!
