Great for when you don’t want to dig holes and anchor posts in concrete. We are using them for our chicken coop fence. Work just as expected and hold the posts firm and upright.

I used these to support a set of stairs up a slope in our back yard. I found two things that made installation easier. First I used a 7/8" x 18" spade bit to make a pilot hole. This eliminated some of the mis-alignment when driving the it into the ground. Second, as the picture shows I used the Bubble Level app on my phone to insure proper alignment. I would check it about every 4-6". These are the 6th and 7th of these I have used and have not experienced the failures others have mentioned. The others were used as bases for fence posts. IMPORTANT NOTE: the posts were secured to an existing chain link fence system. These WOULD NOT work with freestanding fence posts.

When Halloween pranksters took out about 16 mailboxes in the neighborhood, I was delighted to find these aches that I could use to replant the 4 x 4 mailbox post. I did not have to re-dig a hole, fill it with concrete and insert a new post. I was able to use the old post With one of these post holders and sink it easily with a sledgehammer. It is solid and straight. I gave one of the extras to a neighbor and I am saving the other two to install some 4 x 4 posts for a car shade. They did the job easily and as promised.

I purchased these to make tomato trellises for my veggie garden. We have used PT 4x4's laying around from various projects over the years but they are not full length any more. So we wanted to use them but needed an extra two feet to get the in the ground and tall enough to use for Tomato trellises. These spike post things work great if you want to keep the wood out of the ground but have the fence appear as though the posts are in the ground. No rotting of the fence posts using these spike brackets.

Very easy to install- very wobbly over several consecutive posts. I chose to alternate with conventional concrete secured posts and these saved a TON of time!
