The ones I received were 6mm but were the wrong size. I needed a 5/8th. ALWAYS double check if Amazon says they fit your vehicle. Anyway they are well made and durable. Makes changing your oil pan much easier. How do I know you ask? I found the correct size and they worked like a charm.

These turned out to be useless with the oil pan set up on my Chrysler. It would be nice to simply place the pins in and simply push the pan up but my oil pan has to go in in a very specific manner and the pins actually became more of a problem by scraping the gasket maker and creating a near disaster. I am not happy with them. If you don't have any obstacles in your way then they're probably a good idea but for me...no

Changing oil pan on 2006 Hyundai sonata. Worked good lining up the holes. Rather then using all four I used a m6 threaded shaft in two holes and two of these snap on. Worked well. Can't find these in any local parts shop, but can be purchased half the cost through them. Expensive on amazon.

Very helpful, but also expensive for what they are (... the reason for knocking off a star). I found that only using 2 Snap-Ups was best when doing an oil pan job because they're plastic and can screw in a bit cocked so you may have to move the pan around a little to get them all through the bolt holes--Using all 4 made this harder. Once the pan is on though, it's pretty stable and like having an extra hand while you install the bolts.
