The lightbulbs are bright and work great in the hanging light fixtures I put them in but one of the bulbs was broken. Three of them are fine so I didn't return them but please package these better.

I've been using these particular bulbs for years. They're the only ones that are white enough where I can set my cameras white balance to Daylight and the colors come out right. I don't use these for photography but for office work. This is the perfect white for studying and seeing everything in true color.

These bulbs are very nice in that, while there is some discoloration over the years, the color temp before they die is still about 5000k which is as “cool” a light as I could find locally (hence why I’m ordering light bulbs in the first place). They are very bright as well and lasted about 4 years in a room where they’re on maybe 8hrs/day on average. When I couldn’t find these bulbs at my local grocery store (where I first purchased them) I tried to find just any equivalent bulbs at other stores including hardware stores and couldn’t: none with the specs of 100w equivalent, 1600 lumens and 6500k temp.That said, one of my bulbs was DOA and made me think my socket was fried for a moment, but then I heard something rattling in it…I’ve already looked all over town for these bulbs and it would be a pain in the ass to do the whole return/exchange thing. 😤. If you like your bulbs more like natural light or more “blue” instead of “red” these are great… but see if you can find them at a store or some LED equivalent so they aren’t destroyed in shipment.

I use this product in my master bathroom. This is the room I put my makeup on. These light bulbs look like I am putting makeup on outside.Extremely happy with the life span of these bulbs.

I placed a set of these in one of my bathrooms and it really transformed the entire look of the bathroom. The slightly bluish tinge to the light creates a crisp and clean look and makes skin look more natural like daylight, which is great for applying makeup (so I'm told!).Being the energy saving design means they don't give off the unnecessary heat of the regular bulbs. If you have one of those lighting systems with bulbs over a mirror, these are really ideal for that setting. Nice clean bright light that makes your bathroom look cleaner, brighter, and more inviting.

Feit DAYLIGHT is the only CFL bulb I have found that truly emits a pure white light reminiscent of natural daylight at the beach. Other more well known brands claim to be "daylight" or "natural" but all that I have found have a sickly yellow hue characteristic of CFL bulbs. This bulb is ideal for minor surgery i.e. removing a spinter, reading fine print, etc. It does not work well with reading glossy materials such as a magazine because of the reflection.Highly recommended.
