If you are trying to convert to women's sizes, plan one size more than recommended. These were slightly too tight, but if I manage to loose 5-10 lbs, they'll be perfect. I love the length and the design. They are lightweight and very comfortable.

Purchased for my teen. These trunks are comfortable especially with the lining compared to the traditional net liners. They dry quickly and are durable. Great buy!

I purchased a 3X. I usually buy shorts and pants in a 42" waist. The overall fit of these trunks was okay, not tight, had room. However, I was hoping for more slack with the tie strings. I can do it, but tying the strings would be a lot easier with more string length. I would imagine that the 3X is perfect for someone who normally wears a 40" waist. My thighs are not small, but the compression liner did not compress. There's plenty of stretch to it. The liner hangs as loosely as the boxers that I wear. The liner is really soft, and probably my favorite part of the swim trunks. I just wish it compressed the same way that my rash guard shirts do. Not yet decided on whether or not I'm going to keep these.

They look nice. The pockets are good and the fabric feels good but they get so heavy when wet and take forever to dry. I went to the river during a heatwave and after 3 hours of walking after being in the water thease shorts were still damp. They were soaked for almost an hour and a half.
