The chain quality is excellent. The included chain breaker is subpar. It is not durable enough for this size chain. It failed on the second pin of the first link we were working on. We needed to purchase another heavier duty breaker to accommodate this size chain.

Worst chain break tool I’ve ever used. Both tips provided broke immediately and did more damage to the chain than actually getting it apart.

Breaks chains pretty good. But the pin pusher doesn’t quite go far enough for the chain that came with it #35. So pins had to be pulled out with another tool. Would be perfect if the pusher stuck out just a little further. The chain is strong and have had no issues with it.

I like how it all came in one kit pretty cool and the 10 foot of chain was not the best quality but it was not really bad either it has a little more side to side play and that turns in to all over play but as of my now working with out any problems the link buster and chain holder work good also for the price and what all you get for that price I'd buy it again so if you need a couple feet of chain or all 10 feet this is a good deal have fun and be safe happy new year everyone

The tools that come with it make it completely worth the purchase if you need some #40 chain.

I ordered this kit with a #35 chain. The chain appears to be well made. The chain breaker works well but it helps if you clamp one edge of it in a vise. Otherwise, you seem to run out of hands to hold and manipulate the chain and breaker at the same time. The chain stretcher, intended to pull the two ends of the chain together to facilitate insertion of the master link, has a bit of a problem. The range of adjustment is insufficient to draw the ends closely enough together to install the master link. Therefore, I must assume that the same would be true when trying to use it on a #25 chain. It looks like it would be workable on chains larger than #35. I can't speak to durability as I have not yet run the planer on which I installed the chain.

The chain worked fine. The breaker took a couple of tries, but got the job done. The holder/puller did not work well. It would not close tight enough to get the master link in. I had pull in addition to using the puller to get the master link into place.
