Simply put, these are the best ski goggles I’ve used. I’ve tested them in near white-out conditions, bright sunlight, and just about everything in between. The photochromic lens is a game-changer. I got them in the Blue/Black color, and despite the outside of the lens having a blue tint, the view from inside has a warm, slight rose tint that helps bring contrast to flat lighting. In bright lighting I found that colors really pop, and the light transmission just seems to be right. Toward the end of the day once the sun goes behind the mountain they lighten-up and can still see without any issues. The cutouts in the foam allow for a good wide view – while other goggles this size tend to give you a bit of tunnel-vision, these barely limit my peripheral vision at all. To test the fog-free claims, I wore them while hiking, and found that even though the inside of my helmet was sweaty, the goggles remained fog-free. Nice. The included bag has a separate sleeve for the nighttime/low light lens. It is easy to switch lenses, although I haven’t needed to yet. I have no complaints and would recommend these goggles for anyone who is looking to step up their goggle game.

These lens are amazing. Work great in low light, wide lens visibility and fantastic on a sunny day. Definitely recommend these for discerning skiers and riders.

This is a really nice goggle kit - I love the fact that it comes with two lenses and a dual carrying case to keep them with me. Changing the lenses on the magnetic system is very easy, it's a good balance of easy to change vs. sturdy enough to survive a big tumble. The fitment is a bit on the loose side - I had to cinch these down pretty tight to keep air from coming in around the sides. The appearance is excellent - they don't leave any helmet gap, and they have a nice glazing. The fogging is ok - on a very cold 10 degree evening they would pick up a bit of fog around the edges, but once I got moving they cleared up fine. I can confirm the night lenses give great low light visibility. I haven't had a bluebird day to try out the darker lenses and the light darkening, I'm looking forward to seeing how well that works.

Just to get it out of the way up front, I cringed at the price tag too. These are, by a good margin, the most expensive ski goggles I've ever used. So I went into this with a "they better be good to justify this price" attitude. They are that good. They are a comfortable fit on my head (for reference, I'm so average-middle-American it's disturbing, at 5'11" and about 175 pounds, average size head, wear a "large" helmet, etc). They look good, they fit well with my helmet and don't smash my nose or slop around on my face. They also fit well for my similarly average-size wife and our two teenage kids, which might be a problem for me, as my kids have discovered the joys of pillaging Dad's ski and snowboard gear now that they're big enough to use it. These will be too large for preteen kids, and probably a bit small if you need a XXL or larger helmet. The face foam is comfortable, they have good ventilation for anti-fogging characteristics, and the lenses are double layered for anti-fog as well. The optics are excellent, good clarity, no artifacts, minimal to no distortion even out to the edges of the lens.I had to try out the photochromic function, which can be seen in one picture, I put the goggles half in their bag and then set them in the sun, and the result is in the pic looking through. They tint automatically, which is really cool, in response to sunlight, and un-tint similarly. I had to work really quickly even to get a picture of that, as they auto-darken in less than a minute, so very shortly after taking the picture, they had evened-up to dark the whole way across. The strap is comfortable with or without a helmet and has a clip to split the strap to make it easier to put them on or off; the strap also has interior grippy to grab on a helmet when extended, but when retracted as it is without a helmet, the grippy surface is hidden away inside the loops and not pulling on your hair. They also come with a minimal-tint low light lens, and the lenses magnetically clip to the frame, so you can swap lenses without taking the goggles off, super handy for those early morning and late afternoon runs when the sun is just barely peeking through the trees. And one of those "don't realize how cool it is until you get one" features, that double pouch bag that is also a cleaning cloth, so you can store the goggles and their extra lens together without scratching both of them into uselessness against one another. These have all the hallmarks of "designed by an enthusiast user" and are as a result are a joy to use.

These goggles are a notable step up in quality, clarity and performance over the cheapies I typically use. The photochromic lens sufficiently darkens for most light conditions, plus a clear one is included for twilight or cloudy days. The lenses quickly can be swapped, but remain secure once in place. The strong magnets require some hand effort to remove, so it's unlikely that the lens would pop off inadvertently. The sturdy frame and lens curvature is quite pronounced, so I have to tighten the strap more than typical to conform it fully against my medium-sized face and rest on my nose. The foam seal is soft, thick and comfortable, so that's not a huge deal, but wider faces might have more of an issue. The efficient footprint (7.5" width, 3.75" height) should fit most helmet designs, yet provides adequate field of view. I hate when the brow of my helmet uncomfortably pressures the goggle bridge on my nose, which isn't an issue here. The adjustable strap is wide and sturdy, with a buckle latch that's secure but easy to operate. It's lined with thin beads of silicone to help prevent slippage on the helmet. Plus, the included microfiber protective pouch can double as a lens moisture blotter. While this might be more affordable than upper models from the leading brands, it still is a splurge, and perhaps not the best option for those prone to abusing or losing their goggles. Conversely, it would be an impressive gift for any avid skier, including yourself.
