We needed to replace the majorly scratched up original scale on the Delta unifence, and this looked like a winner. Not only is it a winner, it is printed in right-to-left as well as left-to-right, so we were able to also measure out the left side of the sawblade - not even the original unisaw setup had this! If you don't see the readily apparent use in this, think how nice it would be to have both a left and right hand tilting arbor on your table saw :)It's a definite plus to have both imperial and metric measurements on this, as sometimes we need to use the non-standard measurement scale (for my country) to perform woodworking, depending on plans or whether we used our CNC on the part (I do CAD design 100% metric, my wife usually uses imperial measurements).Being that I'm only slightly smarter than a slug, I was fully capable of cutting (with a simple pair of scissors) the measuring tape and applying the excellent double-sided sticky tape which was included in the set - WITHOUT making a mess, sticking it to itself, or saying even one cuss word. Knowing that aluminum does not expand and contract with changing temperature and humidity even remotely as much as wood, I also smartly attached this metal measure tape to aluminum table saw parts as opposed to wooden parts, and have zero issues with buckling or movement within varying temperatures between winter and summer.

have been woodworking for about 50 years, that said I have gone through a number of table saws and stick on tape measures in that time. This one considering the readability of the numbers, the fact that every 1/8" has the fraction and each 1/16 is numbered is fantastic, very handy. It also has all the metric scale on it as well for those plans.Readability - black on yellow is OK and does contrast pretty good, but those tapes have thicker lines. This is Black on White with very thin lines - a knife cut is about the same thickness. way better on accuracy when trying to make a critical cut.install - I admit i was skeptical because the double-sided tape was separate from the metal measure tape but; except for my goofing up the first install it went well enough.the double-sided tape - this stuff is weird - when you first put it down you can peel it back up, provided you do it in the first 5 - 10 minutes... If you wait longer than that, man you will have a mess on your hands as it will NOT come off. I have no idea if its oxy activated or pressure or what but it really holds the tape down.I initially installed the tape on the wrong side of my fence and had to reposition it, which is how i know about the easy to remove in the first few minutes. for an experiment I stuck an unused part of the tape to a piece of metal that had been painted at the same time in the same way as my fence and left it while I ate lunch. couldn't get the adhesive off without chemicals, the metal tape bit took a scraper to get under it. I have no doubt the original tape will hold onto my table saw until the numbers wear off, years from now.I have no reservations recommending this stick-down tape to anyone. Just prep your surface first...

This tape feels like an actual aluminium measuring tape. The adhesive tape included is good quality and slightly thinner. I routed a very shallow channel the thickness of the tape and it all sat in perfectly. Have it flush to my work surface now and it has really enhanced my new setup. Highly recommended.

This is the third attempt to find a scale for my table saw and the first one that I can actually read well. Very thoughtfully made and easy to install. Very nice product.

This is a great quality tape. It is easy to read with the fractions of an inch. I can read a tape measure however this leaves less margin for error.

Purchased to use for a workshop workbench. I liked that this has the fractions printed on the tape. I refurbished a couple of old 1970's heavy steel workbenches and decided to add a table top measuring tape. One table top is 60 inches and the other is 72. I bought this thinking I'd try it out for the 60 inch top, and buy another one later for the 72. The cool thing is, the tape is printed on both sides and has opposing starting points on each. This means that I can cut the tape from 0 - 60" and flip the remainder over and get another 0 - 72" (with left over) for the second table. No need to buy twice. The item comes with a separate roll of double sided tape which makes installation very easy. Position the sticky tape first and then apply the measuring tape. The measuing tape is durable metal and peals off the sticky tape easily enough to reposition. Once down where it needed to be it stuck quite well. A couple of coats of clear coat and you would think it was part of the table. As far as I am concerned, this is a great product.

So glad I didn't go for the cheaper alternatives. This is double sided and reads from opposite ends. I was able to use 5' for my table saw, the rest will be used on my miter station. Super quality and accurate.

I bought this for the express purpose to put it along the edge of my desk. I'm using the L-R format and it's great. It's dead nuts to the same marks as my Milwaukee tape measure, and the mm marks are perfect checked against various screw lengths I have at hand. Printing is crystal clear across the full length on both sides.In the imperial measurements, it has marks down to the 16th, marks for total inches as well as inches within the foot (e.g. 13" and 1F-1) Metric side is tens punctuated by hundreds (i.e. 500, 10, 20, ..., 90, 600, etc) - a little weird, but it works overall.I cut it down to the length I wanted no problem with a decent pair of household scissors - don't use the fabric or kitchen shears! I wanted rounded corners so I don't jab myself constantly, so I tried using a corner radius paper punch I have but it didn't have enough muscle. Instead, I filed off the corners, no problem at all with a steel file.The surface scratches fairly easily, so if that's a concern you might want to clear coat it or something. I have a feeling some of the numbers are going to wear off around where I rest my wrists. These things aren't a problem for me with my expected use, it'll just add to the character of my desk over time.Separate adhesive is neither a pro or con really, it went on easy, and it's silicone-based so it sticks great. It'll be nice that I have extra since I didn't use the entire length, so there's that I guess. There's definitely more than enough to do the whole tape measure.
