Wanted simple way to see if my bike was getting too hot. This proved it doesn't. Great for peace of mind when riding in very hot temps.

Worked great on the oil pan and header of my dirt bike (79 Yamaha XT250), it's air cooled and didn't come equipped with any kind of temperature gauges. Been through two riding seasons and they are still stuck on.

This is handy and much cheaper than adding a digital gauge, but not entirely accurate. This is good if you just want a general idea of the temp. It's good that you get three. I gave two to friends who also have them on their radiators. The adhesive is impressively sticky. Be sure that you have it where you want it before you stick it on. If it's at a slight angle, it's going to be at that angle permanently. :/ Don't ask me how I know.

I am very pleased with these fever strips for my radiator. My KTM Duke II is the first water-cooled (for that matter, first chain-drive) bike I have owned in my lengthy riding career. My bike has a overheat light but by the time it lit the first time, it was too late (busted fan wire). Now I can check at stoplights by just leaning over and peeking. Now I know if the fan should be on or not and I feel much safer.I cleaned the patch where I stuck the strip off with brake cleaner (or denatured alcohol, don't recall). It's stayed stuck since I affixed it.Buy this three-pack and share the love with your friends!
