WARNING: do not use the super lumen setting on the ballast. the first bulb burned out in 5 days, changed the setting to 1k and it has lasted a while now going on 4-5 months.

I bought this a a spare backup and when i went to use it i noticed there were speckles of silver inside the bulb. I figured i would give it a try anyways. After about an hour of being on it burnt out. When i removed it from the hood i noticed it was full of white "stuff" and had basically exploded internally. I expected more from the hortilux brand which i have been loyal to for years.
