Highly recommend especially if you run their tear away shell holders, I can run 15 shells just on the shotgun, with the bandolier on top I've got more than enough for hunting or a woods walk or god forbid self defense

The zipper is good, much better than a few other brands I tried on here. Fitment is good, once you play around with the velcro to get it just right, can be a pain. Great sks add on, looks good with original strap

UI have used a few other stock pouches. And this one was the easiest to install and it has a nice zippered compartment. It looks rather sturdy and well stitched together.

It is exactly what's described. A simple concept that in my opinion is better than the ones that stretch. Get whichever color you prefer or just get the color that matches your weapon the most. The stitching is well done as well as a great YKK zipper. Comes with a shotgun shell card as well as a rifle card. The rifle card might hold smaller caliber shotgun shells but otherwise it would be nice if you could choose to get two shotgun cards or two rifle cards. I guess if you have two long guns, one a rifle and one a shotgun, you could buy two and interchange the cards to make everything match. Otherwise a great buy.

This is placed on the butt stock of the rifle for minor storage(mags/ammo) the product is well made and fits well i am happy with it.

I ordered this buttstock pouch for my Henry Long Ranger Express chambered in .223 / 5.56. I wanted something that not only held a few rounds on the outside, but that could hold an extra 5-round magazine. To my delight the pouch holds two magazines as well as an additional seven rounds on the outside.This pouch is a tight fit, but the stock on my Henry is a bit smaller and thinner than usual stocks and I was able to get this to fit just fine. They Grey color goes well with the grey colored laminate stock, and the pouch stays put and doesn’t get in the way.The only nitpick I have is with the name, Spanker, I mean, C’mon! There is a tag that hangs off the pouch with that name. Otherwise, the seams are all reinforced and the zipper is robust. This appears that it will last for many years and at only twenty bucks is a great value.

The color should be listed as Olive Drab, to help eliminate any confusion as to what color "Ranger Green" is.I recently installed this on my Ruger 77, Gunsight Scout Rifle. I have had one outing since then & it held up just fine, no complaints. My primary reason, was for storage of an additional 10round magazine.The plastic, proprietary Ruger magazine fits snugly inside the zippered compartment, especially after removing the additional Velcro shotgun shell holder. I left the rifle cartridge strip exposed, for that cool, cul-de-sac commando look.The stitching is well done, I didn't notice an abundance of loose threads. The fittment straps are long enough to allow for custom sizing (for my rifle) and can be infinitely adjusted for angle & position.The plastic pieces appear to be an excellent color match & feel very robust. The zipper has an approximate 1.5" length of 550 cord attached to it as a pull. The ends were nicely heat sealed to prevent fraying and there was a small length of heat shrink tubing that bound the cord together and provides additional finger grip.These little details, all add up to a nice piece of kit that was very reasonably priced.

FIT: Three straps on the bottom, one big one on the back. All are velcro'ed in place so you can move/tilt the retention straps to fit YOUR rifle better. If you put 15 min into getting it just right it fits snugly.Materials: Quality materials. Zipper is good (not amazing, but definitely not an issue). Velcro is Fine, the shell holders aren't bad either.Feel: Minor padding on the cheek. Just enough to give yourself a little cushion, but not going to affect the comb.Utility: Great. Enough room for small tools/accessories/snacks? The velcro shell holders don't fit as well on the outside (hand over on each side so I'm scared they will catch on something). There is velcro on the inside so I just keep my bullets there (and out of the elements).Overall can't beat the price, great addition to a hunting rifle to keep ammo/needed accessories and provide a little cheek pad for your rifle.

I’ve been shooting for a very long time and never have I ever purchased a stock pouch that is this good, seriously. When spending $20 on something you don’t expect it to be this great. It’s great, really great.The stitching is phenomenal, the zipper works flawlessly, the elastic bands that hold the rounds are VERY SNUG, the cheek pad inside of the pouch is firm but comfortable enough. Velcro is standard and works very well, very “sticky”. The pocket is a good size to fit my pens and small notebook along with extra rounds carried in the shotgun shell elastic band and a couple ranger bands. The shrink wrap on the zipper pull is a very nice touch.The pouch comes with 2 removable Velcro cartridge holders (1 shotgun, 1 rifle) and ALL of the straps are Velcro so they are removable AND adjustable. I have a custom sized riser on my stock that sits about 1” above the stock and it’s always a concern that the pouch will not fit and I was able to adjust this pouch to fit around the entire stock with the riser and fit SNUG, this thing isn’t going anywhere.My only concern is the removable Velcro elastic cartridge holder on the outside of the pouch.While the Velcro and “lockup” is very secure the shotgun shell holder is perfectly sized BUT the rifle cartridge elastic holder is longer than the Velcro on the pouch itself so I will have to sew or Shoe Goo on two small pieces of Velcro at each end in order to get the ends to “stick” otherwise I can see it now, trudging through the bush and snagging the elastic cartridge holder and it getting peeled off and falling on the ground. The attention to detail was obviously paramount with the design and creation of this product BUT when humans are humans we make mistakes and this was a small mistake/oversight by the manufacturer.Other than that it’s a FANSTASTIC piece of gear and I’m amazed at what I just purchased for $20.
