I purchased when I was trying to trim ounces from my backcountry support gear. Evernew makes fine products. This titanium cup is very light. Only caveat is one you would expect -> drink your hot beverage fast as this will transition from hot to warm to cool quickly. I switched to a different cup for that reason.

So I guess it is not good for heating over fire and eating/drinking out of it at the same time because the part of the handle without the silicone layer got so hot when I tried it, hence the 1 star deduction. It is okay for just pouring hot soup in and spooning. The titanium is the best part. I boiled water in it 2x for initial use, then boiled vinegar to see if any disintegration from the acid. There was a little discoloration from the flame at the bottom. I scrubbed the discoloration hard with steel wool and soap and also the inside and it was like new again, no scratch from the the steel wool scrubber, so I guess it is pure titanium as claimed.

I use this indoors on a low-watt hotplate multiple times daily. LOVE IT! I could NOT find any household pans sold that are made of pure titanium like Evernew's hiking/camping pans. I wanted a completely inert metal (Titanium) that would not leach (stainless steel is great, but it can still leak chromium and nickel into foods. I won't use aluminum) - but would heat super fast (my specially made high-heat glass pans take heat - and I love them - but they're very slow to heat up and hard to keep boiling on a very small burner.) Other titanium pans aren't pure titanium; but Evernew IS.Use it every morning to poach eggs, and daily to heat water, or milk. I've cooked a few sauces at lower heat and if you keep stirring you can prevent scorching. Have made minute rice and vegetables in it. I have fried chicken tenders over low heat. It doubles as a mug - which I find pretty cool - it has such a wide base I can't clumsily knock it over like I've sadly done with other things.The rounded lip - is a big deal. I thought it was just a sales pitch, but it truly does allow you to pour without dripping. I can pour accurately into a small topped bottle without spilling or dribbling the liquid. Amazing to me. I find more uses for it every day.I know it is for outdoor folks - but I find no reason why it can't function indoors perfectly too. Oh - and I LOVE the smaller size compared with kitchen pans - because when it is just for one person - it's the perfect size! Easy to hand wash. If anything sticks to it (not often) just use a little baking soda as paste and rubs it right out. Nothing not to love. (Wishlist to Evernew - I'd love it if you designed a steamer basket for use with your pans.)

Finally able to use my new Titanium cup and it worked great! The graduations make filling the exact amount of water easy. I am amazed at how light this cup is and how sturdy it is. My alcohol stove fits right into it perfectly.
