Note even though this bumper is primed the primer is not suitable for paint and will need to be removed with acetone or lacquer thinner. Acetone is easier. Any pre primed bumper where you can remove the primer with solvent has to be stripped first.Painting on a cheaply primed bumper may result in paint peeling. So expect to strip, scuff, add spray adhesion and prime before you add color. I figured this out when I went to buy paint at a local auto supplier and they elaborated on some pre primed bumpers. Not sure of the extra material cost and time was worth the low price.The bumper was exactly as described and I don't blame the supplier for the unsuitable primer. If the primer was 100% I would have given them 5 stars.

Fit my '09 escape just like factory new and seems to be the same thickness of plastic, but it arrived with 2 gouges out of the plastic and some chips in the primer. My local body shop did an excellent job painting it, but it cost me an extra $50 for them to fill the gouges and primer chips before paint.

The package came in less than expected time. The bumper is aftermarket but fits perfectly onto my 2009 Ford escape hybrid.
