What You Have to Know Before International Traveling:
The plug shapes and power voltage is different between America and European countries.
America uses type-A/B plugs, while most European countries use Type-C plugs (Type-C also fits into Type E, F, H, J, K, L, N sockets that replace the Type C socket in some countries like Italy, Denmark, Switzerland etc.).
American appliances run on 110 volts, while European appliances run on 220-240 volts.
Though most smartphones and tablets are dual-voltage these days, you’ll want to double-check the specifications of your electric toothbrush/hair dryer/hair straightener/clothes steamer/kettle etc. before leaving on your trip.
If your equipment supports 110V input only, please don't use them in Europe, or prepare a voltage converter to step down the power from 220V to 110v.

Traveled in the UK and France and Ireland over the summer. Most hotels do have a USB charging port, but with all of the devices I had, this adapter was a life saver. I was able to plug in a power strip to charge everything at the same time (necessary when you only spend so many hours in the hotel and the rest of them out and about). This didn’t get hot or fail. It seemed a little loose when connecting to each other, but it held up fine and caused no problems.I’d just say the shape with the prongs sticking out so much made it a little more difficult to pack nicely.

Returned from Iceland and Switzerland where we used this adapter all the time. It did a great job and perfectly fit the receptacles everywhere. If I lost it (or left it in a hotel!) I would buy again. Much better than those adjustable fit-any-country adapters I used to use.

Worked like a charm. Love the 2 USB ports and the seperate UK connector. Seems quite sturdy and I expect to get much use from it.
